CALL FOR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
INES Ruhengeri, in partnership with the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) of Rwanda, is pleased to announce a scholarship opportunity for eligible female students in STEM, funded by the Scottish Government through Oxfam. Through this collaboration, YWCA will provide support the female students from the following ten Districts where the project is operating Now: Kicukiro, Nyarugenge, Bugesera, Kayonza, Kamonyi, Muhanga, Gicumbi, Musanze, Rubavu, and Ngororero.

Eligibility
Criteria:
-Be a Rwandan
-Applicants must hold an Advanced
Certificate in one of the following combinations: MCB, PCB, BCG, Biochimie,
Latin-Science, Latin-Biochimie, Laboratory, or Associate Nursing Program.
-Applicants must have obtained a minimum
grade of A to C in both Biology and Chemistry.
-Be a female between 18–25 years of age
(for persons with disabilities, the age limit is extended to 30 years).
-Must have graduated from secondary school
between the academic years 2019 and 2023.
-Only first-year students who are not
enrolled in any other higher learning institution are eligible to apply.
-Girls with any form of vulnerability
including disabilities, early motherhood (not married), or single mothers aged
18–30 years are strongly encouraged to apply.
Required
Documents:
-Notarized copy of the secondary school
certificate
-National ID
-Two recent passport-sized colour
photographs
-Medical proof of disability
-Proof of economic vulnerability, signed
and issued by a recognized local authority
