Application Requirements for Bildungsbruecke-Ruanda Scholarship

Bildungsbruecke Ruanda is an organization based in Germany with the goal of supporting students in Ruanda. We select students and support them with scholarships for various universities within Rwanda.

In order to receive a scholarship, an application should fill the online application and attach the following documents.

General:
✓ Curriculum vitae (CV) → including Contacts (phone, email), the Family situation, siblings, etc.
✓ Letter of Motivation including personal motivation, what do you want to study? Where do you want to study? Where do you live during study?
Specific:
Eligible because of social activism
Letter of Recommendation (from e.g. church, parish, community) which confirms the students social activity (e.g. helping in church, doing community work, etc.) and proposes the student for scholarship

OR

Proof of social activism by certificates


Eligible because of good school marks
✓ School Exams of previous school grades
✓ Final Exam Secondary school

Eligible because of poverty
Confirmation by parish, community that the applicant is poor


Example: Sarah wants to Study at INES Ruhengeri. She writes her CV in English and her Letter of Motivation. Sarah once attended a Red Cross first aid course in secondary school and has a certificate of this (Proof of social activism). Then she makes photocopies of her final exam and her school grades of the previous 2 years (Proof of school marks). Finally the priest of her parish issues her a letter that she comes from a poor family (Proof of poverty). Sarah attched all these documents and she now is fully capable of getting the scholarship.
